WHAT TO DO ABOUT CHAPPED HANDS
It's not pleasant at all when your hands are so sore you can't bear to have them out in the open. They sting, they hurt, they don't function. It's getting colder and the problem is getting worse!
What to do though?
- No a flower on your hand will not help. That's just a picture I found to illustrate hands!! But if a flower gives you joy, then why not hold one in you hand and admire it
- Well for starters, start wearing gloves when you go out in the cold.
- Wear gloves when washing the dishes or when you have your hands submerged in water. Dry thoroughly after
- Use a hand cream several times a day.
- If problem persists you might have to go to a doctor
- Rub a salve or a balm on them at night before going to bed, one with plenty of beeswax and calendula oil. If you have nice cotton gloves, wear them throughout the night with the ointment on.
- Avoid stress - easier said than done
