Massage is Great for the Skin
Massage is Great for the Skin
There's nothing quite like a massage after the shower. It does wonders for your state of mind as well as your overall health. It also stimulates the blood circulation and improves the skin tone and condition.
Next time, you come out of the shower why not have some nice oil ready and rub all over massaging gently but firmly. A good oil for this could be a mixture of sweet almond and apricot kernel with a bit of jojoba thrown in. Remember, you don't need to lather it on. A little goes a long way. Work it well in to all areas with circular movement and sweeping movements along the limbs. Be aware that it gets the circulation going so use this opportunity to leave nowhere untouched. For example, the "flabby" part of your arms will benefit greatly from being massaged as will the thighs and buttocks. It's a good way to combat cellulite; by bring the blood into that area,
If massaging the face and neck try to be more gentle and use upward and outward strokes. Not only will you feel alive after, your skin will be glowing and toned. It will also be very moisturised and conditioned.
Don't forget the feet too!!!
