Hair Growth Treatments

To keep your hair healthy and abundant it is important to keep levels of stress to a low (easier said than done) and to maintain a healthy diet but there are a number of aids among the oils and essential oils category that help.  Below is a number of treatments for hair growth or hair loss.  These are not an exhaustive list but rather ones I've come across:-

Hot Oil Hair Treatment

Hot oil hair treatment is probably the most popular and also the most effective.  The ingrediients are as follows:-

• ½ tsp Jojoba Oil (or Argan Oil)
• ½ tsp Evening Primrose Oil
• 2 drops of Geranium Oil
• 2 drops of Palma Rosa Oil

Directions:-

Warm oils slightly by putting in a little bottle and warming it in boiling water.  Apply this to the hair, rubbing in well into scalp, wrap hair in a towel for 20/40 mins.  Wash an dry.

Hair Loss Treatment For Adding Into Your Shampoo

• 15 drops Jojoba Oil
• 8 drops Carrot Oil
• 7 drops Rosemary Essential Oil
• 8 drops of Carrot Seed Oil
• 7 drops of Lavender Essential Oil
• 2 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil

Directions:-

If using liquid shampoo add these ingredients to the bottle and shake well.  Use as normal.  If using shampoo bars,, put all ingredients into a container and wash hair as normal with the shampoo and add a tenth of the mixture to the hair also, rubbing in very well so it mixes with the suds formed from the shampoo bar.

Growth Hair Serum

• 30 ml of Oil, such as, Jojoba, Sweet Almond, Evening Primrose or Argan Oil
• 3 drops of Rosemary Essential Oil
• 4 drops each of Geranium, Lavender and Cypress Essential Oils
• 1 drop Frankincense Essential Oil
• 2 drops each of Cinnamon Oil and Juniper Oil

Directions:-

Mix everything together in a jar or bottle, shake well.  Before going to bed pour a little onto your finger tips and massage into the scalp.

The three treatments above can be used to help you maintain healthy hair and prevent it falling out.  It would be important to consult a doctor if the problem persists or is very big.
